What Is An Escape Room?
Imagine this: You and your friends are trapped in a real-life puzzle-filled adventure, and the only way out is to put your brains and teamwork to the test. Welcome to the exciting world of escape rooms!

An escape room is like stepping into a live-action video game or a thrilling movie scene. You're locked in a themed room, and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to solve a series of mind-boggling puzzles, riddles, and challenges. These puzzles could be anything from deciphering secret codes to finding hidden objects or even piecing together a mysterious storyline.

But here's the twist – you've got a limited amount of time, (60 minutes) to crack all the codes and unlock the door to freedom. It's a race against the clock! And don't worry, if you ever feel stuck, you can always ask for hints from one of our helpful game masters who is watching your progress on camera.

We offer all kinds of themes, from creepy haunted houses and daring heists to undersea castles and wild west adventures. So, whether you're a Sherlock Holmes wannabe or a treasure-hunting enthusiast, there's an escape room out there that will tickle your brain cells and get your adrenaline pumping.

Our Story
ERVA was Escape Room Virginia started as the first escape game experience established in Coastal Virginia, USA in July of 2015. Xerxes Nabong, founder of Escape Room Virginia created the company out of a strong desire to bring something new, exciting, and fun to the community. The company was taken over in May of 2022 by Candice Gallmeyer who has big plans for the company’s future.

The Escape Room Virginia brand has created over 20 unique games from scratch since opening their doors and even hosts a Halloween Room Takeover of seasonal escape games each year.
